The song proved very successful in the United Kingdom where the song reached number three for two consecutive weeks and then became the sixth best-selling song of 2003 in the country, surpassing the top two hits. It reached number four in the original Danish group and number ten in Ireland. It was a small blow in Australia, peaking at number twenty.
In 2013, the song re-entered the French Singles Chart at number 11.
