New Zealand's Removal Service provides a way for New Zealanders to reduce the amount of junk emails and telemarketing calls they receive.
This service is provided voluntarily by the New Zealand Marketing Association and only stops calls and letters from their 500 members. This is only available to members of the general public, not to businesses or other organizations.
To access the Removal Service, a community member must send an e-mail or write to the Marketing Association by providing their full name, address, phone number and fax number (if any) and requesting that they want to be added to the Removal of the Service Name.
Name removal service is now available online. Service has been renamed to 'Do not call' list and 'Do not send mail' list.
