Delta Carbona L.P. is a Fairfield, New Jersey American company specializing in the production of stain remover products. It was made in 1994 when its predecessor, the Carbona Product Company, was bought by the German smelting company Delta Pronatura.
Prior to this, the company has produced Carbona Cleaning Fluid, a relatively popular cleaning product consisting of carbon tetrachloride and is famous for its mention in the Ramones song "Carbona Not Glue". The song was soon derived from the original album, Leave Home , and it has been suggested that this is due to Carbona's company objection to the product association with substance abuse. In the 1979 movie Roger Corman concert scene Rock'n 'Roll High School, an unknown fan could be clearly heard saying, "who has Carbona?" It was also used and later mentioned in the 1995 film The Basketball Diaries .
